Dear H&M,
You were my first love and you will be my last. Whether I was in my early teen (failed) punk/rebel style, my vintage girly/flower style or my minimalist Parisian/tomboy style, I always managed to pluck the ideal piece of clothing from your racks. You are always delivering us the latest trends for affordable prices, and try your best to make fashion sustainable and sustainability fashionable. As you say yourself, you bring us more fashion choices that are good for people, the planet and our wallet! And yet again, you proved yourself a master chameleon!
My Swedish friends from H&M and I teamed up to show you my interpretation of their brand new Modern Classics line! This collection is all about minimalist silhouettes, elegant details, quality materials and femininity. The prices are a bit higher than the usual H&M ones, but you get some gorgeous linen, suede and silk in return. With this editorial I wanted to prove that these pieces are true investments that you can wear on literally every occasion and combine them in endless ways. This means that the pieces can be mixed and matched reciprocally too! Why not wear that stunning linen tuxedo dress as a waistcoat? And what about combining that beautiful flower print with a breezy striped shirt?
The Modern Classics collection will be in store from March 12, and I sincerely hope you will go and take a look (and a feel!) because there are some true kick-ass spring pieces to be scored. Happy shopping guys!
