On days when I don’t feel like putting much effort in fashionably accessorizing a super unique streetstyle-worthy outfit, I go back to an easy trick to quickly get ready and still get heads turned all day long. A hint of lingerie peeking out is all you need to spice up any basic outfit! In my case that would be a pretty structured bra subtly peeking out of an oversized men’s shirt, my stunning satin kimono worn as a top with a cool pair of denim or the elegant back of a lace body matching beautifully with a perky dress.
The most important thing to keep in mind when showing off your lingerie, is that less is more. After all, you’re incorporating a night time piece in your day time look, so you can easily drop the bedroom association. Revealing too much skin is not the best way to do so, so I’d rather keep things covered and subtle. I would personally stick to the traditional “rule” to avoid showing both cleavage and legs, and keep your fashion look as clean as possible. A lace bra looks so much better when peeking out of a crisp white shirt, right?
