I used to be an avid fashion blog follower, but since I started blogging professionally myself I sort of forgot about blog reading. And to be honest, there’s not much out there that still triggers my mind really. For me a blog should be inspiring and personal, whether it be the layout, the text or the photos. Of course the post requires an outfit that I like, but the presentation and the style of the photos is almost equally important for me.
And one blog that I keep returning to, is the visual diary of Isabella Thordsen. Maybe I wouldn’t immediately trade closets, but the concept of her blog perfectly works for me. Although seemingly taken with an iPhone or non-professional camera, her photos are always on point! She has a super recognizable colour scheme and style, and opts for lots of cozy backgrounds such as her living room or the woods. I also LOVE the frequency of her posts – there’s not many fashion bloggers that manage to share inspirational posts almost daily. And yes, she is obviously super pretty.
All I’m trying to say is that this is one of the few blogs I keep returning to on a weekly base. So if you haven’t heard of Isabella Thordsen, check her out! A few of my fave images below.
